The Contortionist Artist Format: All in all, “Exoplanet” is an absolutely incredible and amazing debut release that indeed proves that The Contortionist are definitely a force to be reckoned with in today’s modern metal world and contortiojist some typical one trick pony. Other mentionable highlights on here including “Contact” which starts off with a calm and clean guitar intro and also features more brief clean vocal sections layered over intense screams as well as more massive, pounding riffage and epic melodic leads and solid double bass kicking, and “Advent” which is highlighted by more crushing riffs with some clean melodic lead notes layered in during the earlier part of the song as well as some great technical melodic lead sweeping, conhortionist more crushing vocals while elsewhere “Vessel” begins with a nice soothing ambient opening, but then quickly segues into another barrage of intense filled vocals and riffs throughout exopanet also includes a teh cool robotic-like voice effect at 2: Start your day free trial.

Part two is a journey in between galaxies interstellar void and part three is the colonization and failure of human life on another planet. Flourish seemed to be the stand out track for me.
